How to lose more after the "honeymoon"

Is my fitness pal free? Part of the problem is figuring out the calories per portion.

I think I really need to investigate this app! Does it work on old androids?

Yes and yes. You can also access it on your computer, which you may find easier for entering recipes. The benefit of having the app is to enter the food you eat wherever you are at the time instead of having to remember to enter it later. I also use it to figure out calories for my homemade recipes. I like to weigh my completed recipe (after it's cooked) and enter the number of ounces in order to get the per ounce nutrition facts. Then I can weigh my portion and enter the ounces to get the most accurate count.

Awesome!  Sounds like you got some expertise!  Expect a friend request and a lot of "bugging" from me in the future since you are well acquainted with the program!

MFP is fantastic, give it a try. I love plugging in recipes and getting a super quick calculation on protein, carbs, etc.

If you find tracking in MFP difficult, you can always try Spark People, they have a whole separate recipes section which auto calculates the stats per serving or by measured amount of any recipe you enter (you can also search to find similar recipes already entered in). So if you want to know how much a cup of hamburger pie is, you just add it to your menu for the day and type in you had one cup (assuming you've already put the recipe in).

I hate to say this - because it applies to me too - but what about the coffee cream?

I use it every day in a few cups but....yeah. It doesn't help.

I think I am going to try switching to tea next week to get away from the coffee and cream. Sunday is my "weigh in day" and then...

:(

It will be worth it though if the scale moves down. I am a copious coffee drinker so I imagine the calories from the creamer are adding up
