I hear you. right now for life insurance. he is on schedule D (liek the really bad chart). I know diabetes cant be "reversed" but if he can control blood sugar through diet, why the hell not?
And as I get really preachy about this, typically what happens is dose escalation over time (I.e. over time, the meds need to be increased because insulin sensitivity decreases). That is why he must exercise.
Sometimes I get so mad at the food industry/diet industry. For years, I ate low fat thinkign I was doing myself a favor. So many "Frankenfoods". Now even WW acknowledges that natural is better and is movign back to wholefoods.
