Today is my day off so I am in black stretchy capris and turquoise junky top so I can clean. Not very exciting. And that is what my weekend is going to consist of: major cleaning of my house and getting our (small) pool up and going. I honestly can't wait for it.
My menu got screwed again yesterday. From now on, though, with my new job and regular work hours (8-5), I will be able to stick mostly to routine. Working 2nd shift for the last 3 years wreaked havoc on my eating schedule and helped me balloon up as well. Anyway, onward to a better schedule!
My menu today:
B: Strawberry Protein Shake (1/2 scoop About Time Protein), 1/4 Cup Strawberries, 2 tablespoons Torani SF Strawberry Syrup, 1/2 Cup whole milk)
L: 2 oz deli ham with a little mustard, 1/4 Cup cucumbers with 3 cheese ranch dressing
D: 3 oz grilled chicken with a little BBQ sauce for dipping (1st time with grilled chicken), 1/4 cup peas (weird craving) with a smidge of butter
S: Quest Cookie Dough protein bar (1/2 in mid day, 1/2 after dinner sometime)
Totals: Calories: 605, Protein: 65, Carbs: 41
Everyone, have a great weekend!
Lourie
There is a freeze warning here and I refuse to take out my winter coat when I go out tonight. It is SPRING!! I went through my whole closet today to see what I have, put away winter stuff and tried just about everything on to see if it still works. I have a neon yellow oversized style sweater on from Hand M I bought in February when I was hoping for Spring and needed a bright color... and leggings. I had friends over last night and made a sugar free/gluten free/low carb Cheesecake. OMG it was so good and even all my skinny friends liked it. Just took my regular cheesecake recipe, used a walnuts instead of graham crackers for the crust... For sweetener I used Swerve and some stevia... my recipe usually calls for vanilla and lemon juice but I add vanilla and double lime juice and lime zest... The lime flavor was mild, but I was hoping it wouild cover any funky 'this is not real sugar' taste. It is not low calorie...but still better than with sugar. Winner. winner.
B: Chocolate protein with PB2
L: Lasagne (leftover)
D: Chicken Soup-with veggies and added protein powder
S: Out at friend's probably some Popcorn, and Hummus
