Hi,

I'm 10 weeks post op, and I'm reading a lot about PB2.  I Googled it and it looks so good!  And only 45 calories for two TBLS... that's pretty good.

Can anyone share the foods they put it on... or any low-cal recipes they make with it???

Does it taste like the real thing?

I wonder if it would be good mixed with Cashew Milk?  (Only 25 calories in Cashew Milk, but it's a little bland for me to drink by itself.)

I bought sugar-free banana syrup and mix it with the PB2 and vanilla protein powder.  I use a magic bullet and mix with ice. I use almond milk.

Add it to a chocolate protein shake for a Reese's flavor.  Extra protein too.

another great one is to add it to a raspberry Dannon light and fit yogurt.  PB&J in a cup!

I use a different brand Chike Nutrition makes it but it's basically the same stuff... defatted peanut butter... so cornstarch-ish/flour texture 85-90% of the fat is gone. You can reconstitute it to spread on stuff but... meh... you miss the fat then... but mixed in yogurt, oatmeal, protein shakes, in baking (I make these little protein muffins ), you can use it to make crepes instead of flour, using in things is best... you get peanut butter yummy flavor.

I have been mixing 1 premixed chocolate premier protein with 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt and 2 tbs PB2, then split it between two snack times. It is a Reese's flavor, but the Greek yogurt tones down the sweetness and adds a slight cheesecake flavor.

I used PB2 for years,,,,,when the only way to get it was to order it. But it is great to use for that peanutbutter flavor you want in about anything. I also have mixed it with water and spread it on toast, or spread in celery. It is missing the oil so it does taste some different. But you could mix it with a health oil in your own controlled amount and that might make a diff in the taste.

I was so excited this past weekend when I found a big jar of it at Sams club under a diff name...but same stuff!

I mix mine with my Almond or Cashew milk. I have found that only 1/2 of the serving is plenty for my drinks. They also have a chocolate flavored PB2 thats pretty amazing.

I have used it just as a powder with my chocolate Jay Robb powder and milk for a peanut butter cup shake.  I also have added a bit of water to reconstitute it into regular PB consistency to eat off the spoon or swirl into yogurt.
