What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning! It was a warm weekend here in sunny California and we might hit 90 degrees today and then we will hit a cool down. Had a nice weekend and even hit the gym for a swim both days (my daughter loves to go and kids get to swim on the weekends). I was super excited to get in some tank tops I ordered (saving the pic for photo Friday)
Samples can be fun-that is how I was able to taste the flat-out bread and samples are the perfect size for us.

Hey guys, it's been FAR TOO LONG since I've checked in with my menu peps! My new job is going great, but it's been quite overwhelming - add to that I've had a horrendous cold for 2+ weeks (and it was one of those situations where I eventually figured I should go to the doctor but I have new insurance to go with the new job and figuring out how to do that before my new insurance card arrive was just too damned daunting).
My food choices are....just ok since starting the new job and my gym visits are basically non-existent, but I'm (almost) healthy and more settled into work, so real life needs to start up again - and one part of that is making time for posting here!
Time since surgery: 13 months
B: coffee with cream, a Chobani Flips (I had actually planned for a McDonald's egg white sandwich, but when I got there the place was ON FIRE so I had to resort to my mini fridge snack stash for an appropriate breakfast option)
S: L&F with sliced almonds
L: a meeting just got put on my calendar so it's going to be a protein bar I fear
D: TJ's turkey meatballs with sauce and cheese
S1: Power Crunch while I'm with my ESL student
S2: SkinnyPop and a Yasso bar
TOTALS: Calories 1280, Protein 95, Carbs 125 (this is what I get for so much yogurt and bars in one day looks like I might need to swap my evening snack for a better choice), Fat 54
V/W: started
E: nothing organized - trying to get my steps in though - this is my biggest challenge with the new job, much less running around than I'm used to.

Thanks Karen! I've been missing you ladies and this post - I need to recommit to better planning and this has always been such an important part of that for me.

Hey Everybody,
I had a nice weekend. Walked outside with the dog, and enjoyed the sun. Sunday as the day went on the weather got crappy. I walked in the a.m. and road the bike in the p.m. I got over 15,000 steps in yesterday :) Today it is rainy and getting cold. I feel so much better when I see the sun, I am sure I have the seasonal sun thing. Any how, moving on. I did go through clothes I can wear. Sad story there too. I have to get shopping, I have enough shirts, its pants, underwear I need to get a few more of to get me through to the next size.

Hello everyone! I know I am posting very late but today is my first day at the new job and this has been my first chance to post. So far so good. Everyone here has been so welcoming and I can already tell this is going to be 1000% better than my last position. My weekend was amazing. We had our annual fundraising Gala for my high school and I felt absolutely giddy in my new dress and heels. I will post a pic on Friday. My pouch was extremely picky all weekend but it was happy to have alcohol so I went a bit overboard. Oh well. Yesterday I ran 7 miles at a 13 min mile pace. Slow and steady finishes the race, right?
