Vitamin Question -- C with Iron

My iron supplement includes vitamin C (60 mg), but unfortunately it is Celebrate's chewable which is iron fumarate.

First off, do you take more C than this in addition?  I have lately been taking 500 mg of additional C with my Vitamin E supplement --

Secondly, I am changing to tender iron -- should I continue additional C with that?  Can I also take the E at the same time?

Thanks in advance.

I am certainly no vitamin guru, but I have been taking the Tender Iron for several years and my understanding from Michelle (Vitalady) is that the 400mg of Vit C in the 60mg Tender Iron capsules is sufficient and does not require additional C (especially since I take mine with one dose of my multi, which has some C in it as well).

I have never heard/read of any problems with taking Iron/C/E together.

In order for the vitamin C to help you absorb the iron, you need 200 mg C for ever 30 mg elemental iron.  The Tender Iron from vitalady contains the necessary amount of iron so you wouldn't need to take additional C.

And yeah, there is no reason not to take E at the same time.
