6 months Post op
I haven't been on here and months... but I'm hoping my post will help someone who is lopking for what to expect. I am 6 months post-op, down almost 70 pounds and it was the best decision I ever made!! I had a lap-band 8 years ago this month, and never once felt as good as I do today! I have so much energy, can wear a pair of size 10 jeans and have never felt better!! I eat regular food- just not near as much as I use to. Sugar does make me feel ill, but that is a good thing- makes me behave. I do eat a small amount of a dessert if I want it, but I don't eat much and a taste is all I need or want. Cravings are gone!- well almost.... Since surgery, I have wanted the taste of pizza and strawberries. I just have enough to satisfy me and I'm done. I have about 25 more pounds to go and I can see the light!! So happy!!!
Congratulations, you're doing great!! xoxo

I am 5months out and I have lost 83lbs, :) I agree, it was the best decision I made, a little scary at first but glad I did it! Congratulations on your weight loss! Sugar doesn't bother me so much either, only if I eat or drink to much or too fast I get sick, learning on how to eat was the roughest part.
