What's on your Friday Menu, RNYers? (PHOTO FRIDAY)
Good morning! Since AV is enjoying her baseball weekend I will be starting things off. Last night I stuffed my self into a wetsuit for the first time ever. It was tiring and extremely tight but I needed to make sure it fit. This is something I would NEVER have done pre-RNY. I want to know what have you done since RNY you would have never dreamed of pre-RNY?

Love the wetsuit picture! You are rocking it! Many things I would not have done before RNY but here are a few: do obedience class with Lily my dog(I would not have wanted everyone watching me during individual practice),walking a 5k(I have done 9 and run some in the last two),wear bright colors(I was the queen of black and no it didn't make me look smaller!) and actually wearing jewelry that attracts people's attention. Before surgery it was all about blending in! Beautiful day here in Illinois. I have errands to run now but Lily and I will walk 3 miles at the park and I will do two more on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike. Vitamins and fluids started and here's the food: B 1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz meatballs and 1/2 c sweet potatoes D 31/2 oz poached salmon and 1/2 c sweet potatoes S Greek yogurt with granola. I like them...the only thing is if you don't eat it right away, the egg gets a little soggy...lol...so you have to dry it off with a napkin. :)
