Well I am trying all sorts of things for after surgery(early May surgery with insurance approval!!). Protein shakes of all sorts with different flavors added. Y'all have giving me some great ideas! Coffee, yay! PB2 I had seen before at the store and did not think a thing of it till I kept seeing it on here. Broke down and bought some last night. Morning shake I added it, OMG!!!! Love the taste!! The smell pulled me in but the taste was way more then I would imagine a powder could be! Thank you all for posting such things. I have so many options after surgery now it is crazy.

Good luck on your surgery!! Have you tried and Nectar powders yet?  They have a lot of fruit flavored powders...but my favorite is the Lemon Iced Tea...it is great with water....not thick and tasts just like a powdered ice tea mix.. it has been my YUM! That and 80 calorie vanilla Greek yogurt (Dannon) with a scoop of whatever Chocolate Whey powder you like....it is sooooooo delicious, like a chocolate cheesecake and has been my dinner every night since I got out of the hospital (last Friday)!

Thank you and you too!!☺ I have tried them, not the tea though, the fruity ones were soooooo sweet, it is gagging! Even my 10 year old would not drink it. I tried mixing more water to dilute it more for a total of 20oz of water and still just to much. I will have to look into the tea! I drink decaf tea. I buy Kroger brand Greek yogurt, cheaper, with all the protein and low sugar, 5 total carbs, 3 of which is sugar. Not bad when your mixing it with unsweetened almond milk and sugar free jello mix(1tbsp). People on here have such great ideas and I love it. I started this journey thinking I was pretty alone and would have to figure out everything on my own, but no! OH is very helpful in all aspects from emotional to foods to how to function in a new body! Kudos!!

FYI I like PB2 a lot too, but find it a bit harsh in shakes right now at six weeks out. I can still add some, but about half of what I used to. Otherwise my shake makes me nauseous.

I am sorry it makes you sick! That is the worst feeling in the world! I hate to feel sick to my stomach. I expect after surgery things will taste different and that's why I am so glad to have all these options with my shakes! Makes me feel better knowing it is not all chocolate, vanilla or strawberry!

I think the nuts are a bit harsh on a new pouch. For example, I tried a spoonful of almond flour today trying to make an Eggface ricotta pancake and it didn't make me feel ill like too much PB2 but just uncomfortableish...almost like having mild to medium heartburn. So that will go away for a couple more weeks at least to try again later.

OK I gotta ask.  I also have seen PB2 a hundred times, but have no idea what it is Peanut Butter (x2)?  Where do you find this gem?

It is basically Peanut flour. PB2 is a brand name, there are other brands. It is much lower calorie than real peanut butter. Great in shakes. You can reconstitute it with water, but I have never tried it.

I bought it at Target. Website says it is at Big Lots too. Not sure if you have either where you live, but I would guess amazon if anything. Gross was my first thought but after seeing people on here talk about it I figured I could spend 4 bucks and try it. I was so happy I did. My husband wants to mix it for actual peanut butter, so we will see how that goes!  😊

It is powdered peanut butter with lower fat, carbs, sugar and calories but still has 5 grams of protein per serving.
