You are having an amazing recovery. I have read other people's blogs about LBL and BL and they didn't sound nearly as good at 2 weeks. Keep it up and congrats on the new number!

I do feel fortunate!  I think my fitness level going into the procedures has helped.  I also ate a lot of protein before and after.  I can't believe how NORMAL I feel - other than some swelling and occasional uncomfortableness around my mid-section, I am totally back to normal as far as energy and walking.  I'm not doing intense classes at the gym, so obviously I am not back to my normal self but I am shocked how good I feel.

Thanks for the congrats and have an awesome weekend :)

My metabolism was in overdrive when I was recovering from my lbl/bl. I seriously ate over 3000 calories a day and then at the 3 month mark, my regular metabolism returned and I had to cut back

Ohhhhh I bet that is what is happening! I didn't think my body would metabolize faster or more effectively while recovering. I better nip it in the bud now before I think I can sustain eating higher calories! Thanks for the tip.

PS now I am 100% sure I am going to do my arms. Now that the rest of my body looks good, it's unavoidable, just like you said. Sigh... :)

I live on Long Island, Suffolk County. South Setauket, near Stony Brook University. :) I mostly familiar with Westchester because my grandparents lived in Bronxville and both my parents grew up there. Now I just pass through on my way upstate. :) I know it is a nice area though.
