Just got my one year labs back, and several things have been "flagged" for being too high or too low.  If you are good with lab results, should I be unduly worried about any of these or are there any immediate concerns?  I won't see my actual doctor until my appointment in May.

I think your vitamin D and B12 are excellent.  there is a lot of research that says the reference ranges used by your lab (and most labs) are too low for good health.  For instance, if your B12 was 211, you'd be at risk for developing permanent nerve damage in your hands and feet.  Your lab might think that's normal but I sure don't.

Before surgery, I started with a severe deficiency at 8!  I was put on sublingual Vitamin D3 at 50,000 IUs three times a wee****il it reached 50.

After surgery, I began Celebrate's Dry D3 at 5000 IUs daily.  My 6 month blood work came back at 89.  The Clinic advised me to drop to 3x per week.

So,  my number still increased at 3x per week -- so I will see what they recommend me to do in May.  In the meantime, I've learned that I am not a toxic level, so I will drop to 2x a wee****il then.

In terms of the LDL being low, that is a good thing! LDL is the bad cholesterol, HDL is good cholesterol...so you want your low low and your high high.

Thank you.  I realize that LDL is the bad cholesterol -- however, mine is a lot lower than recommended.  In fact, too low is connected with depression, anxiety and neurological disorders.  Hopefully, fat malabsorbtion will even itself out over the next six months.
