What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

I love to eat out post surgery because I no longer stuff myself and end up feeling miserable! My favorite place to eat is Applebee's. The last time I went I had a delicious cedar plank salmon. I love seafood now too and hated it before surgery. Now the seafood lady at Schnucks knows me by first name! They had a seafood sale this weekend and we got a 20 pound box of 14 count shrimp and a big box of cod fillets. Had shrimp last night and cod the night before and both were delicious! Freezer full of seafood=yummy! Beautiful day here in Illinois today so Lily and I will do 3.1 miles to the park and back. I will also do 2 miles on the treadmill and 20 minutes on the bike at some point too. On track with vitamins and fluids too. Here's the food plan: B1/2 c steel cut oats with nuts and half a banana with peanut butter L 31/2 oz thin sliced chicken and cheese and an 80 cal caramel Greek yogurt D 31/2 oz pork loin and 1/2 c sweet potatoes S Greek yogurt with some granola. Have a great day full of smart choices everyone!

Oh and Lily was not impressed with the singing of happy birthday but gobbled up the pupcake I made her!

Glad you're feeling a bit better. That salad sounds amazing!! My favorite discovery so far might just be the new love for steak-I didn't eat it much pre-op.

Today my menu will be a bit backwards as I took the day off to spend the day with my daughter. We plan to take a walk in the park this morning and so breakfast will be a protein bar so I will have breakfast for dinner! Looking forward to a girls day today-we are planning on walking the park, bowling, lunch and a little shopping (really need to find a swimsuit-not really looking forward to THAT shopping).

B: Skinny latte (gym day=Starbucks day!) Quest apple pie bar and a handful of trail mix

L: We will be out and about but I will most likely get chicken wherever we end up for lunch

S: L&F Strawberry yogurt with chia seeds and a tad granola

D: Egg beaters, spinach and cheese scramble, some strawberries and blueberries

S: Thin Addictives Blueberry Oat thins

Vitamins: Will start with breakfast

W: started

E: Gym day, 60 mins cardio including elliptical and treadmill, walk at the park and bowling (if you count that!)

Totals: Cals:953  Protein: 89 Carbs:112 Fat 21.

Have a great day all!

Emipie, Mamata turned me on to Miracle Suits a few weeks back and they literally do perform miracles!  I have some serious hanging skin (and obviously my legs and arms couldn't be hidden) but my stomach was so flat and smooth in the swimsuit I felt almost confident wearing it (I mean, I still had anxiety, but you can't erase 34 years of swim wear anxiety in a weekend, lol).  It was expensive, but really well made and I will be wearing it all summer long for sure!

Good morning all!  Beautiful day in Kansas City.  Wish I was home in my sewing room.  AV, take care.  I'm finally feeling human after my sinus surgery.  Maybe it was worth it.....maybe.  I haven't posted for a few days.  The weekend was busy.  At least that's my excuse.  I may have eaten off plan a little.

Last we talked about our lack of sympathy for others sometimes.  My DH saw a chiropractor yesterday who promised to cure him of his back problems, Neuropathy and even Dementia.  Medicare will pay $1000 and the remaining $6000 we pay.  Of course you can set it up on Care Credit for only $143 a month for 5 years.  Hubby is ready to sign up but I nixed that idea.  Told him he needs to see his orthopedic doctor.  He does have early stage Dementia but I really don't believe back adjustments will help that.

I'm retired but work for a temp agency.  I would like to fully retire one of these days.

Today's eats:

B: PB cup shake - Click has forsaken me.

B 2:  Weight Control oatmeal

L:  Burrito; apple

S:  Caribbean Cooler protein in ice water

D:  Logan's for a steak dinner - 1st thing I do is cut my steak in half to bring home; will do same if I get a sweet potato
