Were I you, I would limit my fat choices to one per day( as required by my Nut as long as I am in the weight loss phase). That means you have to make a choice between the almonds, the avocado or the mayo. Not all, not 2 of 3 but choose only 1. I was also told that unless you energy bar has more than 12 gr protein and less than 3 gr sugar, it is a candy bar regardless of what it says on the wrapper. At 15 weeks I am 54 pounds down and a slow looser. I am 67 years old with some mobility problems but I do walk for an hour in the pool every day. I still have one premier protein pre made shake per day, and I add one half cup of high protein non- fat milk, either Skim Plus or Fairlife so that I boost both my liquids and my protein. My first labs were all excellent, so I am a happy camper. I eat a lot of fish, particularly shellfish and salmon. I do not eat white carbs as I was a type 11 diabetic before my surgery. I can digest steak very well, but not white meat chicken. I have had no problem with any veggies, including celery and asparagus. If I continue to loose slowly, or even slower than that, I am going to post my menu daily so everyone can comment.

Good advise! Remember your vitamins too.

I am RNY, and I learned from Kaiser Bariatric plan. Exercise is needed. Vitamins are needed. The printed material I use recommends only 65 grams of protein each day.  Not refined sugar or simple carb. Double check your labels and measure your foods to get the best numbers. The vitamins are extremely important, blood test will definitely show you where your numbers are. Take care.

Your menu looks fantastic to me.  Fluctuations and stalls happen but they are temporary.  If this is honestly how you eat every day then I promise you it will pass.

Artificial sweetener is not an issue.

In regard to what your PA told you about protein, all she probably meant was anything in excess of 80g is far more than your body needs and it's therefore just extra calories.

Keep up the good work.
