Straws

Just wanted to get some opinions on using a straw. I am 7 1/2 months and wanted to see if anyone had any I info so share on whether they have had issues with using a straw. It's a warm day here and I would like ice in my water but don't like open cups... I know it is weird! Thanks

I have not tried because I'm only 10 days out, but my friend who is two years out uses them without issues. I don't recall my surgeon's office even bringing them up, but I know some advise against using them.

Used one quickly after surgery and continue to do so daily without any issue ever

Me too - I think the major key is to make sure those are zero calorie beverages that you are using that straw to drink with.
