Just have fun! Only compete against yourself because there will always be someone more fit than you. I am just happy to have a faster time. I did one in December with about a 47 minute finish. I really don't do an all out jog as I have knee replacements on both sides but today I was able to come pretty close to a jog for 3/4 of the race. Definitely building up my endurance!

I remember you said that you walked instead of running due to your knees. I want you to know that YOUR PB BEAT (yes BEAT) my first 5K in which I was jogging.
