Marginal Ulcers

Anyone been diagnosed with a Marginal Ulcer YEARS after sugery? I'm almost 9 years out and recently had an upper GI/endoscopy which found inflmmation around my pouch. I'm wondering if it could be or the beginning of a marginal ulcer since there was no inflammation anywhere else AND I'm having ulcer-like complaints.

it could be anything. Ulcer can develop at any time.

inflammation can lead to ulcer.

...that's what I was thinking too (inflammation leading to ulcer)

Hey. I'm 6 yrs 8months post RNY surgery & just found out in Dec I have an Acute Anastomotic ulcer of gastrojejunal region. Already knew from about 5 1/2 yrs ago I had ulcers at the top of my stomach. Neither are fun to deal with. Currently in the process of seeing my surgeon about this & the fact lately I cannot keep any food down & some days not able to keep liquids down either. Take care of yourself.
