Bless you for adopting a past breeder. Even though they aren't young and cute anymore they still deserve a great life! My Lily,a 5 year old(almost 6) was born at the puppy mill and was kept as a breeder for 5 years. She wasn't socialized and was scared of everything. She has done amazing though in the year we've had her and is so smart and super living. She definitely keeps me moving and helps me maintain as she LOVES to walk!
