Two NSVs
NSV number one: I walked in to Lucky Brand jeans to buy some new jeans. I asked the salesclerk, "Can you show me some jeans that aren't skinny, just a regular pair of jeans?" She said, "Sure, what size are you?" Me, "I don't know, maybe a 12...or possibly a 10?" She looked at me confused and said, "Let's start with an 8." 
NSV number two: The jeans fit. I bought 2 pair.
I have never been a size 8. As young as I can remember I was in women's plus sizes. I am in awe of this tool.
