"almost there,...keep going,...stay focused,...eyes on the prize" - the guy at my gym
Hi and Happy New Years!
I am exercising in the house too, it is a frigid 10 degrees and the wind is gusting, Brrrrr.
I am so happy, I went to my 3 month Dr/Surgeon check up a couple days ago and all my lab numbers are good. The labs that were below the recommended number are now in the average accepted but on the low end. (labs first done in March 2014 and last December 23, 2014. So taking the vitamins has helped me improve my Iron and Calcium. Still working on my Vitamin D2. I was told I was doing good in weight loss, getting in protein, and exercise and water. The Dr was overall pleased. He laughed when I told him I had made mistakes (and told him about them) and people on OH gave me a hard time about it. Then told me to keep up the good work and when I make a mistake move on and make good decisions. He allowed that we all make mistakes, it is what you do to rectify it that counts. He also told me about one of his patients that had kept her weight off for 7 years and started eating sweet again and has gained most of her weight back and is wanting help.
Well this is a New Year and I am going to do my best to stay on track. I am going to try to plan my meals the night before so I know what to do the next day. I have been waiting to do my menu the same day and it does not always work for me. I am not a morning person and by the time I do my menu it leaves me with to much wiggle room. Just an area that I think I can make a change in and stick to it. I also think I may eat the same thing for breakfast etc like I see on some menus. Won't hurt to try it, see if it works for me.
12 weeks out
B chicken thigh 3 oz and 1 oz of mashed potatoes
L fratata and 2 pieces of turkey bacon
D turkey chili and a couple crackers maybe a dollup of light sour cream
S shrimp ****tail, or string cheese
V/W both started
E 45 minutes on the bike done, maybe another 45 on the bike later, also need to look for a resistance band training on you tube that I like to do. (Dr suggested I go up and down the stairs 2 times in the a.m. and p.m. and increase weekly)
Hope everyone has a great start for the New Year. Working on goals and "getting it done". Best of Luck to all of us :)
