Good Morning and a Merry Christmas Eve Eve to all!  I am working today (and tomorrow) but I wish I was home so I could wrap.  I don't want to be up until 2am tomorrow night like I usually am so I am going to pencil myself in for some wrapping time tonight.  Also?  The weather is supposed to be like 50 and rainy for the next several days.  That's not festive at all!  LOL

D:  Morningstar Farms Mediterranean Chickpea burger with an over easy egg on top

Karen, you just totally confused me!  It's Tuesday and your post says Wednesday.  LOL  I had to look at the calendar to make sure.

I am confused too! I realized after I typed it that it was wrong but had to hurry out the door to pass out Christmas baskets and food to some needy folks so no time to change it! Sorry!!

Karen must be really anxious for Christmas to get here!  It's ok, we all are! Here in SE NC we have gloom and fog and light rain too. These forecasters are saying 68 today and 72  on Christmas Day. Hmff.  Anyway, I'm making goodies for the get-togethers. Snowman Cake Pops, Chocolate Cherry Cordials, and two kinds of fudge. Let Em eat it.  I have just yesterday broken out of a mini-stall and it has rejuvenated my strength!!!  So I won't be tempted or stick anything in my mouth absentmindedly, I'm putting on my little dust mask and having this for today's eats:

B.  Coffee with a 1/4 scoop of chocolate protein powder

L.  1/4 cup of Egg Beaters with some leftover spinach

S.  1 reduced fat cheese stick

D.  1/2 or so, Bocca Burger with a spoonful of salsa

S.  If needed, a few spoonfuls of Light & Fit Greek yogurt

I'm going to go pick up my dog today.  He's been staying with a friend while I recovered from surgery.  I can't wait!  Today's food:

B: cottage cheese (1/3 cup puréed)

s1: 1/2 bariatric advantage protein shake

l: 1/4 c. Greek yogurt and 1/4 c. Puréed tuna salad

s2: broccoli, cheese, and bean soup (1/2 cup puréed)

d: refried beans w melted cheese

s3: half a very ripe small avocado - Is this irresponsible? It fits in my calories and I have plenty of protein. I'm looking for potassium and fiber, but it seems decadent.  I'll take good advice on this one.

Good Morning All,

Hope everybody's last minute Christmas prep is going well.  I offered to host a family party on the 28th, and it literally just occured to me on my drive into work that the 28th will end up being this weekend...for some reason I thought it was like a month away!  What's wrong with me.  Now instead of feeling zen and relaxed about Christmas, I'm kind of freaking out at the number of people I will have in my home this weekend.  Oh, the holidays :)

Time since surgery: 11 Months

B - Egg White McMuffin from McDonalds

S - String Cheese

L - TBD, most likely a spinach hummus power bowl from Panera

D - Leftover pork tenderloin

W/V - On track

E - None planned, but I really should force myself to go to the gym, hopefully I'll get inspired!

Have a great day everyone and good luck with all the last minute details before the holiday :)
