Received my letter today!! I pretty much did not qualify in any area! My BMI is only 37. I NOT diabetic. I do Not have blood issues. I do NOT have high BP. I do NOT have sleep apnea. Oh & I guess it don't mater that I had an aneriysm at 19 because I have no side effects.

Sorry you got denied. Try to look on the bright side though. While you might not have any of those life threatening issues now, in a couple of years you might.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

Both Happy and sad for you. I am happy that you are not suffering from co-morbidity but sorry about your denial. Was you blood work so clean as well, No pre-diabeties? Cholesterol fine LDL was not High?? HDL was not too low?? Please review all this with your MD while considering appeal. If you indeed have no co-morbidities. Then working with a nutritionist may you your best course of action. I lost 40 lbs. pre surgery on South Beach With the dieticians guidance. and it was much more agreeable than I would have ever believed. You can do this one way or the other Dawn.
