Always cold!!

I don't know if it goes away.  I am 16 months out.  I noticed this past summer I would start to get warm around 78 degrees. I always had to have a jacket or long sleeved sweater cause I would be cold if the temp was below 78. Before surgery I would have been sweating my butt off at 78 degrees.  I didn't need a AC in the window this year.

I hate being too cold.  I have blankets and sweatshirts and fuzzy socks that I end up wearing all the time.  I have not bought the fingerless gloves yet but I am thinking of getting those long sleeved shirts that have that thumb opening. For me I noticed I stay warmer in my hands if the back of my hands are covered.

I'm always cold - but I love it!

I'm in central Texas, so all of my life I have been hot, sweaty hot, and now I'm not.  It's so nice to not be hot all of the time.

I know eventually I'll tire of the sweaters and socks all of the time, but for now I"ll take it!

Six years out. Still always cold. I live in Texas and love our 100 degree summer days.

I am 22 months out and it doesn't seem as bad now. Of course, I'm Alaskan so 'the cold never bothered me anyway'!!  I don't really know to tell the truth, because I have always kept the furnace low and wear flannel and wool all the time unless it's summer. But the extra degree of chill does seem to have ended for me now. I am on a long plateau, so perhaps it will return when I start losing again.

Anyone know why this happens?  I was telling my mother when I'm super busy and excited at work, I'm not a sweaty mess anymore. THANK THE GOOD LORD!!!  It's a wonderful side effect!!

For me it took about 3 years to go away. Now I'm starting menopause and I'm hot all the time.....earning for the days.

Interesting to see it doesn't go away for most people.  I was one of those who never wore long sleeves.  I do all the time now, and winter isn't even here yet!  My wife doesn't mind, since now I like the house nice and warm just like she does.

WOW!  So I am not alone!  thanks guys.  I will just stay cuddled up with an electric blanket.

At a hotel now with one of those in-room heating and cooling units. I have it turned up to "tropical" and going for the past 6 hours while I sleep and I am finally all nice and comfortable!!!
