Dr's vary widely on coffee. From never again (sadists) to serving it the hospital (probably not the best idea.)

I had 4 weeks restriction of decaf only then OK'd for fully leaded. 8 1/2 years out no issues, I drink many cups a day. drinking one now ;)

Most Dr's say OK in moderation. Not to sub for water. Avoid for a few weeks during healing but this will also vary based on your individual health history so... if you have an ulcer or something they probably will restrict you.

Not for me, since I have ulcers.  Sometimes I miss it but I've become used to hot tea w/lemon.  :)

My surgeon allows 18 ounces of caffeinated beverages per day. After my one cup of leaded I do decaf or herbal tea.

I don't know why not.  I'm drinking a skinny vanilla latte right now!

My Dr. made me wait 6 months...it was brutal.  But decaf was ok, so I'd just pretend :)  I drink it now with no issues (10.5 months out).

I had to wait 3 months and he wanted me to keep it black.. yeah that didn't happen but I did wait and only use almond milk or a little cream ( for a treat).

I try not to drink it every day but it's harder in the winter. I like to be warm in the inside too

I made my goal today and I drink coffee every single day.  I didn't for a month or so after surgery, but now I have a fully caffeinated cup of coffee straight outta my Keurig every morning :)  I have recently started trying Crystal Light add-in packets with caffeine.  Yum!  But I am sure I should probably tell you "follow your doctor's program" lol.
