Woo hoo!

I love your mindset -- celebrating, but not celebrating. I also went through the process of revising my goals a couple of times, and had the same timetable as you, just under a year.

I have no doubt whatsoever that you will remain vigilant, and continue to kick ass. It's so nice having you here.

Grim, you don't know how much that means to me!  You have been my inspiration since I found this site.  Seeing your weight loss blew my mind.  Yeah a revision is coming - I guess my super not-so-secret goal of 145 will be my new goal.

Thanks also for believing that I will remain vigilant and kick ass.  I certainly hope so and plan on it, but as we know, the five year numbers are not all unicorns and flowers.  I will just work daily to do as well as you!

Congratulations Em! You have worked so hard and it has paid off. I'm sure that you will continue to lose and get down to a normal bmi. Just keep following your doctors plan and your body will let you know where it's comfortable. Nothing really changes as we have to stay vigilant and accountable every day.

Cari - we have similar starting weights - mine was higher than yours, so believe in yourself and follow your plan and get moving (trust me, it's a lot easier once some weight comes off!) and you will totally be in my shoes in no time!

What an amazing journey! Your right, maintenance will be the real test. But, I know you can do this.  I love what you wrote. I agree, it's vets here that have and still continue to show us the way.

Congratulations!
