Feel like roadkill, fever, cough, insomnia
Going to my PCP 1st time since RNY, hope she knows how to prescribe for pouches. Typically I get a week's worth of prednisone and antibiotics so not sure how that will play out. Can't sleep, insomnia big time like to was before surgery. Yuck! Is it true that is due to the estrogen being released as fat burns? Not sure I want to go on Ambien, too many issues with that but can't do Benadryl as it wires me like so many meds do. Just feel crappy! I have already been hospitalized for a week this year for pneumonia and I am nebulizing all through out the day. Just returned to work a week ago and now sick, not ideal.
Any ideas or suggestions?
My PCP gives me Xanax for flying (takes the edge off since I travel a lot). It also helps me sleep. I'll take it once in a while at night and I sleep like a baby!! My mom takes Ambien and from what I've seen, I'm very, very afraid of it! LOL.

Acute bronchitis, PCP gave me Levoquin antibiotic, she thinks we will stop progression to pneumonia, she agreed with not giving prednisone unless absolutely needed but is not afraid to give to RNYers. For insomnia she prescribed Trazadone. She was very pleased with my weight loss. I just a yogurt, used my cutter so about to take them now, wish me luck! She was very supportive and amazed how low my blood pressure is and how few meds I am on now. Also started me on Breo inhaler to replace Advair.
