Results of my Failed Half Iron in Vegas on Oct 5. Blacked out on the bike and pulled from the course at Aide station #2 for extreme dehydration. 4 bags of IVs and they let me go, but for some reason it really beat my body up. Suffering from massive cramps and spasms in my muscles and pain in my hips and knees. I feel like I have the legs of a 90 year old.

If your PCP is unable to prescribe the meds that you need, you may go to a rheumatologist and or pain management. they might be able to help you better with your arthritis treatments. Also sometimes creams
and heat to the painful areas can help. I know your pain very well. I was one who had to have knee replacement and am now still going though injection treatments to my other knee and wrist areas. I will be having the RNY soon. It is a revision to a VBG that was unsuccessful from 7 years ago. Good Luck in your search.
