Feeling so positive but woke up this morning with diarrhea.  Thought it was just gas, lol, big surprise.  Now have to cut back on all milk products to make sure it is not lactose related. GRRRR.

Sorry to hear that!  I know I am sensitive to dairy now (2 weeks pre-op) so I am prepared to have issues with dairy after.  At the support group I attend it seems like almost eveyone there has issues with dairy now.

Well guess I am in good company now, lol.  Did not get much protein in today, just a struggle to get in water, thank God for popsicles.  Just a day at a time is all we get so this day is almost finished, whew!

Good luck with your surgery.

I think that is fairly common that soon after surgery. You have mostly liquids going in and no real fiber. Mine lasted about 2 weeks and I've been fine since. I think it's too early to worry. Good Luck!

I am four months out and my stool is pretty loose all the time. Your body is dumping stored water and will be dumping fat and weight pretty quick. It has to leave somehow. Plus your intestines are shorter (significantly) so it changes bowel movements.
