Before and 8 Months Post op-Skinnier Scientist
Thank you Curves! You can! Just follow your surgeons plan, do a bit of exercise that you really like (work up to it if you havent exercised before. I did step on the floor (not on teh step) 3 times a week for about a month before I had the strength and coordination to get on teh step...and then it was for just a few minutes at a time)).
Also, there is another girl here (i think..Sherri?) that suggested as you lose weight, buy more fitting clothes. I assume it is to keep one motivated and "not sloppy looking". I wish i would have done this. It took my office mate (twice) and the gym (once) telling me that I need "new clothes that fit" to send me to goodwill shopping. I used to hate clothes shopping but after the surgery, these shopping trips were pleasantly fun! Ok really fun. And then I started to "like how I look"
Also, your facial features will change so dont be afraid to change up your makeup techniques and your hair. For example, I used to have a hooded eye (no eyelid), so I used to use the same technique for eyeshadow that almond eyed/people of asian heritage use. Now, I have an eyelid!!! So I can do different stuff! It is almost the same fun I had in high school...playing around in the bathroom and having new discoveries!
