Ice cream is everywhere and stalking me.
You got this! I am pre-menstrual so my cravings are off the charts. Yesterday, I desperately wanted a Twix bar. Today I would shank someone for a baked potato.
If Ice Cream is one of your triggers or pre-op demons maybe its best you don't... you know you.
I steer clear of a few foods by choice... and too close to the real thing would make me only want the real thing... so I understand... everyone's journey is theirs.

I have always loved ice cream and an ice cream maker is a necessity for me. I make my protein ice cream with Lactaid milk and add some sugar-free cool whip for creaminess. There are wonderful recipes on Eggface's site. I rarely go a day without my protein ice cream fix.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I loved ice cream too and it is really the only thing that I truly miss. But I have tried it a few times and my reaction wasn't pretty so I had resigned myself to giving it up. Then a few short weeks ago, I found Arctic Zero ice cream. Really low in calories and very well tolerated but not cheap. The flavors are not as strong as regular ice cream but the consistency is good. You might want to give it a try. I first found it in whole foods but then found it in my local supermarket.
