Vitamin A
Been having issues with low Vitamin A and of course after being told to take a supplement, i haven't been able to raise it at all. The anything available here in Canada is the soft gels which i've been taking and since i don't have a credit card, have been unable to get them online. My question is, i found some Vitamin A drops at an organic health food store. Can i take those and do they work as well as the dry pills.
Thanks
Not sure try adding more Orange things to your diet. Also a really good thing to read is : http://empoweredsustenance.com/true-vitamin-a-foods/
Vitamin A is absorbed in 2 places along the digestive track -- both of those places have been bypassed with RNY. So adding Vitamin A-rich foods won't do you much good. You NEED a dry formulation of Vitamin A. I suggest Biotech brand, as that's what I use for a number of other supplements I take. I know you said you don't have a credit card so buying online is difficult. But this is worth the trouble. I'm sure local stores sell pre-pay Visa or Mastercards that you can load money onto and then use as a normal credit card -- I'd suggest that route for placing an order for the supplement you need.
I can't really comment on the Vitamin A drops you found unless you share a brand or nutrition label we can look at.
