Thank you!  I am glad my post helped, I know before my RNY I always liked to see the before and after pictures and hope that someday it would be me!  Good luck on your surgery on the 8th and before long we will be seeing your before and after pictures here!

You look fantastic! Can't wait. I am 3 weeks post op and down 30#. So excited for you. God Luck on you knee surgeries. Wont be able to stop you later on!

Thanks!  Sounds like you are doing fantastic at 3 weeks out, down 30 lbs already.  I was and still am a slow loser but it does come off.  Just different for everyone.  Will be seeing your before and after pictures here soon!  I look forward to it!

 Height: 5'7".  HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!

You look amazing, and I feel you on the replacement pain. Ha ha I had my right hip totally replaced and hoping that the RNY on monday will delay the left hip.. I know it wont stop it.. but hoping to delay it as I'm still "young" enough haah. But knowing that I can survive that and you said the bypass was cake compared, makes me feel better about Monday.

Thank you! Yes the pain and recovery period for the gastric bypass is so much easier than it was for the knee replacement. The gastric bypass took a while to adjust to for the eating part, that part was rough for me for a while.  At the time my surgeon had me on full liquids for 4 week, pureed food for 4 weeks and then soft food for 4 weeks before moving to regular diet.  Not gonna lie that was tough, especially the 4 weeks of liquid.  (My surgeon has since revised his plan to 2 weeks of each stage).  I am sure you will breeze through it!  Good luck!
