2922 days!
Today marks 8 years since I gave myself the best gift... weight loss surgery. Couldn't let this day go by without a shout out to ObesityHelp and all the pals I made here through the years... so many are still a part of my every day. For those beginning this life changing experience... I wish you well! I hope you will feel the same way about your decision to have the helping hand of weight loss surgery.
Unsolicited advice ;)... Remember weight loss surgery is a DO BETTER, Not a DO OVER.
Do-over - repeat same mistakes=get a similar outcome. Do-better - make lifestyle changes you can continue forever, because there is no finish line, WLS is battle 1 in a lifetime war vs. obesity.

P.S. Work on the head "stuff"... it's the MOST IMPORTANT part of this IMHO.
Congratulations on two fantastic accomplishments. First for doing so well on your own "do better," and second, for helping all of us.

Shelly, congratulations and huge thank you's! I know the word "inspiration" is thrown around a lot, but you truly qualify. You've put so much back into the community and helped so many of us...I love your site, your recipes, and your positive attitude. I keep your "Do better!" concept in my head as much as possible, it's so much truth wrapped up in two little words!
I wanna be Eggface when I grow up! CONGRATULATIONS, and THANK YOU!
