Thanks, Karen! I do appreciate your vote of confidence! I would like to think I can keep it going but I am sure everyone who has gained back 50 lbs has thought the same thing. I am trying to be idealistically realistic :)
You are a maintaining inspiration! I am curious where I will end up (weight-wise) and then the goal is to just keep plugging along everyday :)
I can only imagine...you are HALF of me, and I feel great too lol.
When I randomly chose 170 as a goal, I was well over 300 and it seemed like a stretch. Now the loss has slowed a bit so it's not like I expect to lose another 130 lbs in 6 months, but 170 seems attainable and hey, maybe I will get below that. My current short-term goal is to lose 30 lbs before August 22nd so I can celebrate my birthday in ONEDERLAND! That's 15 lbs a month though, so we will see.
Good morning Em and all! I know you have a quick stop in Paris, where else will you be? My next business trip will be taking me to glamorous Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, I know you are all VERY jealous LOL.
Last night I learned some important things at my water aerobics class: #1 I have a huge crush on one of the life guards, #2 going to the gym with your swim suit under your dress and forgetting your bra for post swim is not a good thing, and #3 the water slide my Y is A-MA-ZING!
Read a post on BuzzFeed last night and actually laughed out loud with some of them: Stage of Not Eating Carbs. So many of these thing resonated with me, though not only on the carb front. Anyway, it made me laugh, maybe it will make you laugh as well!

Good morning Anny! That Buzzfeed post is hysterical, but too true! I think I've felt all those feels to one degree or another.
Good reminder about making sure to bring a bra when going to the pool. I've sworn on my son's eyes that I will get to the pool at my gym once this week, either for swimming on my own or to the water aerobics class. I'm out of excuses, I just need to DOOOO EEEEEET!! I may just wear a cover up over my suit and then wear it back out again and home, though. I'm not sure I'm up to changing clothes in public yet, and there are no private dressing rooms at my gym.
About the lifeguard: Go talk to him! What's the worst that can happen? He won't be interested. What's the best thing that could happen? He may be! You never know, right?

OMG, Pam, the thought of speaking to a hunky man while wearing a BATHING SUIT is HORRIFYING!

I'm half laughing because you're funny, and half laughing in total solidarity with you!

LOL Anny! How awesome that you have a crush on the lifeguard. Hmmm...I see lots more water aerobics in your future :) I have a non-sexual crush on my trainer (if that makes sense) and I totally look forward to seeing him. Whatever gets your butt in the gym, right?
As someone who has, um, not-so-small boobs, I would DIE if I didn't have a bra to wear home! I would have to walk out clutching a bag in front of me LOL.
Crappy, rainy weather here too...I am sure my flight will be delayed. I am off to Detroit for a few days (baby shower) then off to London for a week of work and team-building and then off to Paris for a 48 hour holiday, then back to London. I will be gone for 2 weeks. Ironically, for someone who has no clothes, my suitcase weighs a TON!
PS I am working from home until my Gwynnie Bee package arrives today at which point I will pack those items (into my insanely heavy bag) and then go show my face at the office!
LOL, I LOOOOVE that you're working from home to await your GB package!
And I basically did clutch my bag in front of me to talk out, I was soooooo annoyed when I realized it wasn't in my gym bag!
You've got such a packed two weeks, geez!
