Is there a limit of how much we can eat a day or week? I eat 1oz for snack everyday and sometimes mix half a slice of low fat cheese in my eggs. Is this too much? Well according to someone who told me that there is too many carbs in cheese. There's only 1g so how it be too much??? Plus i buy the 20%MF or less.

Thanks

I guess it depends on your doctor's plan. Mine gave me no limit on cheese. Whoever told you there are too many carbs in cheese is just cheesy, that's ridiculous.  It doesn't sound like you are eating too much cheese to me.

My plan just said an ounce per serving and not how often, I didn't see a limit as well.

I doubt a NUT would say that's too much.  I choose to buy 2% milk mozzarella sticks cause I like to wrap lunchmeat around a cheesestick for a snack.  Otherwise, I choose Sargento brand ultra-thin sliced pepperjack--it's nice-n-HOT compared to other pepperjack cheeses. Three cheers for cheese.

Hip hip, hooray for cheese, lol. It wasn't the NUT who told me so, it was someone I know. I guess I should take whatever they have to say with a pinch of salt from now on. Besides she's a google addict and always looking for ways to loose weight good or bad. She's into to this carb thing and says all carbs are bad, bla bla bla, eat this way or this exercise is the best. I try to ignore it most times and just follow my plan and trainer.

I'm a cheese addict! I eat at least 2 Kraft jalapeño cheese sticks a day and usually a light Baby Bel to top it off. Yummmmm.... Cheeeeeeeese!

The Jalapeño sounds good. I like cheese but just a little.

Well, I don't limit the amount of cheese I eat.  Yeah, dairy products all have some carbs.  So?  We need some carbs in our diet and dairy seems like a much better source of carbs than, say, white potatoes or white bread.

That's true. The 1oz i eat only has 1g of carb which is very minuscule. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't over doing the cheese.

Thanks

The problem with cheese is, it's not a dense food, and has a relatively high calorie count compared to dense proteins. A little cheese is great, but it's the kind of food you can eat way too much of, all day long, for a gazillion calories.
