Quest protein bars!!!
They are too delicious to be good for you. I just started buying them coz at almost seven months out, i'm still struggling to get enough calories and protein but, i'm getting there. Are we sure they are good for us? They are YUMMM!!! lol. That said, i can only eat a third or half at a time as they fill me up that i can't eat anything else and i only eat them once a day too. I feel so full so, i was wondering if anyone else feels this full after they eat theirs or is just me.
thanks
After much experimenting with various, and not very tasty, protein bars I finally found Quest bars a couple of weeks ago. I struggle to get all my protein in some days and these tasty little bars really help. I love that they come in such a wide variety of flavors. I usually eat a half a bar at a time and try not to depend on them every day. If I struggle to get my protein through food on any given day, then I'll have a half a bar for afternoon snack and the other half at dinner time.
I think you have to decide HOW you want to eat - I personally would never eat one because I choose to eat as cleanly as possible and protein shakes and bars are NOT clean.
Please note that there are law suits under way and as long as you are aware of WHAT you are eating, in terms of chemicals and carbs (not what is on the labels according to the lawsuit) and you are happy with that - have at it!

Although i didn't research them before i started eating them, i only went by to what i had read of the forums and just assumed they were ok... I wasn't aware of the lawsuits and i will definitely research that now before i buy any more. Darn it, just when i thought i had found a good thing. Guess i have to try harder to get the protein in food wise. Thanks for the heads up.

Apparently Quest is being sued over misleading labeling of the calorie and fibre content of their bars. I could not tell from my search if the allegations have been found in court to be true. For a bar, the fibre content is higher than I have ever seen, and they are rather tasty. I have them and like the flavor, but can only eat about 1/3 to 1/2 before feeling rather full. Bars in general are not my daily food, I eat them only in a pinch. Do your own research on the Quest bar issue and come to your own conclusions. All I did was google Quest bar lawsuit, the information on the suit is readily available.
I dump on them. My body sees the carbs as pure sugar, even though Quest calles the carbs "fiber " my body still is able to convert that into sugar. I dump ....therm 1 hr later get reactive hypoglyce!mia on top of that,
