Yesterday-9 mile hike.

 

Today-Step class-50 minutes from 12.30-on.

RNY Surgery: 12/31/2013; 

Current weight (2/27/2015) 139lbs, ~14% body fat

Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !

what is Bikram?  Is it high intensity.  Resistance?

Bikram is hot yoga .... I LOVE IT! best thing for my old body kinks... The first time I did it my first year out I thought I was going to die and was about to give up but just laid on my towel and mat... then determined to do it I went back with my co-workers and my daughter and after the 2nd time I loved it and now I am addicted to it .... once or twice a week it is hot yoga for me... been doing it for 7 years and love it...  it makes my body feel sooooooooooooo good.  I am well hydrated before going to a session too.

Thanks! I stole it from DC girl (she always asks what is on the menu). I want to know new exercises. Diversity makes exercise more fun. It is fun to try new things.

I will always always love step. The gym has cut offerings because it hasnt been "in" since the 90s.  

So what?  It is great fun!  In or not.

Thirty minutes on the treadmill at 4.3 miles per hour and 20 minutes on the stationary bike.

Wow! Compared to me, you HAUL. I think I can "jog" at 4.1 mph for like 3 minutes..that is it. Then I back to walking at 3.7-3.8.

I swim 3 times a week for an hour. I ride a bike up to 15 miles when the weather is good enough to do so for me. Right now I am remodeling my kitchen so I am getting way too much exercise. But before my surgery 2 years ago, I could not even think of doing something like that. Thank God for RNY.
