Hi all,

I am just so excited tto compare myself before and after surgery.

Yesterday, I hiked the Manassas Battlefield. 9 Miles of it!  Previously, 3 years ago, I could only do a small "loop" of it (around a mile or two)  of it due to hilly terrain that just wore me out.  Now, I did that hilly terrain and 7 MORE miles of it.

My garmin (and sparkpeople) say I burned 2,736 calories!  I cant believe I did it.

While initially sore and tired immediately after, I woke up this morning with NO sore muscles.

I love that I could keep up with my fiancee and we didn't even need to rest once!

I love being lighter and all the new thinigs I can do.

This is an epic physical fitness accomplishment for me.

It just makes me want to RUN to the gym now!

I know exactly what you mean. Saturday a squatted and pulled tiles all morning up at my church, went mushrooming in deep woods with my husband, then came home and did my regular 50 minutes of exercise. I still had energy to spare too! I couldn't have done even one of those things two years ago!
