Significant complications post operatively.
Dear Celtie,
I am so sorry for what you have been going through and I, too, will pray for you. You have been through so much and it is no wonder that you are afraid and frustrated. I have no advice to give as I am only just under 4 weeks post op. Just know that prayers are being sent your way asking for things to turn around for you.
Celtie this brought tears to my eyes! You have been through so much. I don't have any advice but just wanted you to know I read through your post and will be praying that you get the help you need. Thanks too for reminding us that there are chances of complications with any surgery. Sending hugs your way!
Gosh, I'm really sorry you have been through so much! I haven't had surgery yet so I don't know what else to say except that I hope you can get better soon and get things calmed down. I can't even think about how stressed you must be!
Even tho it's scary for me to read it is good to know that I need to be on top of things after surgery so I appreciate you sharing it. I am learning so much here just in two days.

I feel for you. Your post indicates how important is to chose a doc with great skills for surgery and ...for handling possible complications that can happen months or years later,
I was lucky. My docs listen to me and respond with actions... Even if tests and numbers indicate there is 'nothing'. I had 3 surgeries for hernias and bowels issue based only oin symptoms and my doc experience. The third one - just middle of last year - fixed "flipped" bowels that caused a lot of pain for me.
On top of that - my surgical team helped me by recommending best docs in town to deal with my other issues (endo, allergies, etc). Some of those docs did not take any new patients - but my center made it happen.
With so many issues - have you been tested for food allergies - I just recently found out thast I have severe allergy to soy and dairy. Once I removed those from my diet - my life quality improved and my insides are much more happy with me. But even small amount of soy protein may mess me up for a week or so.

Apology accepted. (I know how cranky *I* can get when I am in pain...)
I am sorry things have been so incredibly difficult for you. The added pressure of losing your insurance certainly doesn't help. (I would think that you would be eligible for subsidized coverage under Obamacare, though, so you should probably check that out.)
I hope you will be able to get it all sorted out and the pain resolved very soon.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Oh CelticSoul, I'm praying for you. If the moderator does not want posts of faith, then Celtie, you're in my deepest thoughts. I'm here for you. I'm not wealthy enough to offer financial help, but let me know if you need a shoulder and I will come to you. Do you live in Orange County, California? Who was your doctor? My surgery is scheduled for June 2 with a novice doctor. I'm scared too.
