Thanks, Joan!  You inspire me!  Seeing your pics it's like seeing a brand new person!  I know you picked your username b/c you were getting ready for 50 but now you look 40!  Amazing :)

How much have you lost post op? Your doing amazing! I had surgery not much latter than you. My date was Dec. 19.

I was 369 when I started a pre-op diet, lost 18 lbs to be 351 day of surgery on December 16th, and today I am 267.8.  Some approximations below.  I haven't completed month 4 yet (that will be April 16)

Pre-op loss: 19 lbs

Month 1 loss: 28 lbs

Month 2 loss: 20 lbs

Month 3 loss: 20 lbs

Month 4 loss: 14 lbs so far

I can't help but compare myself to others, but please don't...my starting weight was HIGH so I am putting up big numbers, and I am also eating zero carbs, and I am also exercising 5x a week with a trainer...and thanks for the compliment!

Great job! We almost have all the same stats. I lost 180 pre-op. Was 348 surgery day and I am now at 265. I love seeing your post. I don't post much because the one time I did I had very hateful comments so didn't post again, but read yours everyday. Keep up the great work sweetie.

Hateful comments???  Really? Please don't let one bad comment keep you away - you are just as successful as I am so you should be sharing what is on your daily menu!  If I hadn't been reading this site, I would have never known about unsweetened almond milk and I would still be drinking skim milk for twice the calories and 4 times the carb...please do come back to the daily meal post!

Like I said...we are behind a screen with the anonymity of the internet...but let me assure you, for every comment perceived as mean/rude (and I only say perceived because I find that sometimes I am guilty of reading something into a message when it's meant totally in a different vein) there are 100 people who will get a meal idea from you.  If you've lost 100 lbs in 4 months then you're obviously not eating donuts and pizza :)  Come back!

It was not from one of the food post I had posted about how to remember to eat when we never have hunger pains or anything and instead of ideas I had sevetal people tell me I was not going to suceed because I wasn't doing this right.

Thank you for sharing!  You are a big part of my weight loss journey.  I looked forward to your daily post.   I am 41 wishing I had the courage to have the surgery when I was 36.   No looking back, I have done it now!  I wish you a lifetime of success!

I don't understand the anti Rny movement.  The support group in my city is ONLY for sleeve and band....  I don't get it...

What an absolutely fab post.  You are a rock star.  Congratulations on all the success you've had so far and all the success that lies just ahead.  I know you're going to reach your goal and I can't wait to read about it as you journey towards it.
