Recall on Effexor XR

Pfizer has issued a recall on certain batches of the extended release versions of Effexor. Most RNYers don't take extended release meds, but if you are taking this, please call your pharmacy to see if your prescription may be from the recalled lots. Those lots MAY BE mixed with a heart medication and can potentially be fatal. The chance is low, but still...

Lora is it just the brand or is there a generic involved? My mom takes this - but I think she has generic.

Oh my! I do not take this, but have several friends that do! I will let them know ASAP!

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
