Grading Your Pannus
Perhaps you just need to re-try your a google search because I did not have any trouble finding photos of both men and women, before and after a panniculectomy.
the grading descriptions are pretty clear, though, so I'm not sure why you need photographs (especially since "after photos depends a LOT on the surgeon who does the work):
- Grade 1: the panniculus reaches the pubic hair but not the genitals
- Grade 2: the panniculus lies over the genitals down to the thigh crease
- Grade 3: the panniculus reaches down to the upper thigh
- Grade 4: the panniculus hangs down to mid-thigh level
- Grade 5: the panniculus reaches the knees

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
We're being graded now? I wasn't told! I didn't study! I want to be graded on a curve.

Grimm I am glad I was not drinking my tea when I read that because I would have spit it right out laughing. I had to read this because I had not clue what a grade for a pannus was.
I had never heard of grading either. I figured yhere were two kinds, ugly and not ugly.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
