Failed Infusion? Or Something Worse?

I have autoimmune problems that have caused my chronic anaemia.   I had pernicious anaemia before RNY and I have vitiligo.   My ferritin tanks really quickly and has gone from 50 to as low as < 2 undetectable by lab in 3 months!

You are at great risk of heart attack and ultimately death with a ferritin level that low and (for other people's benefit) no one should be tooling around with a PCP with this level of blood issues.   Once you get a ferritin level below 50, you should be under the care of a haematologist!
