My goal number is something I came up with on my own. In college, I maintained between 135 and 140. Everyone I knew said, "Wow, if you could just lose that last 10 pounds, you'd look great." So in my head, I want to get rid of that last bloody ten! ;-) I'd toyed with even going lower so I'd have some room to manage bounce-back. But size-wise, I'm already wearing a 2 in jeans and a 4 in pants (I even have one pair of jeans at a size 0). So I don't know that I want to go any lower than 125. I think I'll try to maintain between that and 130. I guess I'll see...
Now if I could just lose that damned tire around my middle, all would be well.
One thing I've definitely noticed--working out has made me waaaay smaller inches-wise. When I weighed 137 in college, my measurements were 38-29-39. Now, I'm at 34-28.5-34. That whole "muscle may weigh more, but is more compact" thing ain't all hooey. ;-)
