A peanut butter question...
I've had peanut butter make me feel a little oogy, but nothing serious. I just go with the good old Skippy and Jif. Maybe Sunbutter or Almond butter would be okay for you? There's an organic brand called Justin's that sells small 1 oz packets of Almond and Peanut butter if you want to try a little and not buy a whole jar.

Target has them for a great price, FYI. My younger son love those!

I've gotten a bit tired of egg for breakfast so I tried a slice of toast with peanut butter yesterday. I felt like crud all day. I've been avoiding breads for the most part since surgery so that could have been it, but it was a bad first taste of peanut butter post-surgery. :( I miss peanut butter. I know it has a lot of oil so maybe that's the issue? The fat content is too high? I only buy Peter Pan.
Oh, and that burping thing - ugh. I get that sometimes. I haven't pinpointed it to a specific food. I think it's when I eat too quickly. I only get 30 minutes for lunch at work so if I have to prepare anything it cuts into my basically 20 minutes once I get into the break area. I can't ever seem to eat slowly at work. I've switched to shakes for lunch.

The PB2 is dramatically reduced fat, but all the taste. I use it in my shakes from time to time and you can actually mix it with water to make a spreadable peanut butter. Give it a try! :)

Couple of things come to mind - GB issue or beginning of food sensitivity... Or allergy..

If you can have a tsp of Almond butter with no problem - then it is not fat - but possible allergy to PB. I would give it a total rest for 3-6 months and try again.
