What Contributes to Prolonged Weight-Loss Success After Bariatric Surgery?
Not surprising at all.
After hearing my surgeon talk about some of the things she had seen (which led her to stop doing DS because so many patients were non-compliant with vitamins), I really do worry about the people who stop their vitamin supplements.
I wish they had delved further into the psychological aspects of things, because getting help for the psychological/emotional components is a huge factor in success as well.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Nice to hear the message that long term weight loss success after wls requires long term lifestyle and behavioural change. It is really hard work to make permanent lifestyle change...especially learning to let go of emotional eating. The more we can support one another and be realistic about the amount of work we each need to do, the better. We all deserve long term success. thanks for sharing the article!
