One month post op appt

The psychologist at my bariatric center told us that there are those who lose fast at first and those who lose slowly at first.  At 3 months post op, almost all of them will be equal in weight loss.  I compare it to babies - some sit up early, some sit up late, but by one year they are all sitting up!  I have lost 15 pounds in my first month, so I feel your pain.  I went to my 1 month post op class yesterday and there was a man there that had lost 35 pounds in one month!  I almost cried.  We can tell ourselves over and over not to compare to others, but it is hard not to!  The advice from every professional yesterday (nutritionist, trainer, psychologist) was "do what you are supposed to be doing and there is no way you won't lose weight."  Just keep repeating it!  I'm going to post it on my bathroom mirrior!
