Ok fellow WLS peeps!

You all helped DH and I in our research for a mattress.  Now, we are asking for opinions on those single cup coffee machines.  I have my eye on The Keurig Rivo but.... I am the latte, etc peep, hubby just wants a cuppa joe, ya know?  But I love the idea of a milk frother on the machine!

So what are you using and what are you liking and what are you not liking???

Also, are you buying your coffee beans freshly roasted online or ????

We are coffee fiends so we have decided to dedicate part of our food budget to a really good machine and really good beans.

So coffee lovers, bring it on and let me know what you are using!

Thanks so much.  Y'all da best!

I have the Nespresso Citiz with the milk frother. It's a pod system and it makes the best espressos and lattes. The only downfall, you can only get the pods from Nespresso. It wouldn't be good for your husband though if he just likes plain coffee since it only does espressos and lattes.

LOVE my Keurig VUE ....my kids have the K-cup Keurig, which is nice if I want a smaller cup of coffee and the K-cups are cheaper than the VUE cups.

My wife loves the Krureg(sp) I'm still biased and I use an old fashion espresso maker. Nothing tastes like the original.

I cannot get onboard with all the plastic waste of a Keurig, too few people buy the reusable cup and just toss those plastic things by the bucketful into landfills. We have a DeLonghi Gran Dama 6700 and LOVE it! I have a friend with the Magnifica and it is wonderful, too! I can make a myriad of drinks and it uses whole bean OR ground coffee and I like that we can switch back and forth! I buy 2 lb bags of Peet's beans and go between Italian roast, French roast and Major Dickason's. I would give up MANY things before I gave up my DeLonghi!! WELL worth the investment and if you look around, you can find them for a great price. Last year my friend got her Magnifica for 999 from Costco online. When I added up how much Kcups would have cost me for one year, I saw my machine paid for itself pretty quickly!

My Cuisinart also can use ground coffee or beans. I have looked at the DeLonghi. It may be my next coffee brewer purchase. I literally keep a coffee pot about 2 years and I wear them out.

I kill coffee machines too,  lol  I have a BUNN now and it is much more durable, plus it has a water tank, so it makes a pot real fast.

My thoughts and I too am a caffeine fiend. The Keurig is a good system but I drink way too much coffee to buy so many pods. I do have the refillable insert but find the coffee isn't strong enough unless I make the small cup.

I prefer my Cuisinart that grinds the beans for me. I want a latte machine just don't know where I would put it I don't have a whole lot of counter space.

I do use my Keurig when I'm only going to drink drink one cup of coffee.

Do you froth skim milk with these machines?  I love my coffee, but always used half and half.  So Can't do that anymore.  So happy for this topic!
