Goal weight confirmed today. YAY!
on 11/19/13 3:11 am
I had Physical Therapy this morning from 7 to 8 and then met with my nutritionist from 9 to 9:45. I wore my workout gear to see the nutritionist so she could see 'all of me' and do some review of my body and size. She said I should be between 157 and 162 in the end based on how things look now and that when I get to 170 we'll reassess. But at least I know I am about 35 lbs away from my final goal. That will mean my loss will be a total of 173 lbs (if I go to 160 even) and I could NOT be more excited if I tried.
I will have lost more than my entire body weight at goal. I marvel at the idea of that. I weigh less today than I did in 6th grade. SIXTH GRADE! I have truly been fat my entire life, from the womb forward and it is the most amazing and wonderful thing to not be fat any longer. I cannot wait until I am actualy SLIM!
For those that are about to do this or newly post-op and asking "WHAT ON EARTH HAVE I DONE?" here is the answer from my perspective. You have done the greatest thing EVER for yourself. This is an entirely new life for me and I am filled with joy and enthusiasm and excitement to suck the marrow from the bones of life for all the remaining days I have on this earth!!
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Awesome news!!

Well done to you on your amazing loss in such a short time! And I really needed to see this as I have been wondering what I have done (3 weeks post-op with a cough that makes my abdomen feel like it is splitting back open)
i am looking forward to getting to where you are and looking back :-)
