Wow this really varies from person to person more than I realized. Honestly, most days I don't have hunger the way I did before. I feel...empty? That's not the best description but all I have. Some days I don't get that empty feeling even. I'll forget to eat if I don't pay attention.
Other days I do feel hungry. All day. I call them "big pouch days" because I am hungry and I eat. Not a lot at a time but every hour or so all day. I have to pay attention then to or I'll end up eating crackers or chips in excess. Fortunately, big pouch days for me seem to be immediately followed by a "Did I forget to eat?" day.
I'm 6 years out and still don't have any traditional physical hunger. I can feel when my blood sugar drops if I wait too long between meals/snacks (I eat 6-7 times per day), but I never get a rumbling or that "really empty" sensation, etc.
My appetite, however, came back about the end of the 2nd month or beginning of the 3rd month. The food cravings started coming back a couple of weeks after that (although they were not as strong as pre-op).

I feel hungry maybe once or twice a week on average. Evenings only, not breakfast or lunch, I still have reminders for those meals and almost never eat before the reminders. But I sometimes have dinner before a reminder.i. Am 6 months out this week.

I'm seven months out (today!) and while I do occasionally feel real hunger, it's very rare.
Yesterday I was busy and didn't have a snack in the afternoon like I normally would. I had a business dinner that didn't start until 7:00, so it wound up being a full seven hours between meals. I was hungry when my dinner came. :-) The good news was I got full with a very small portion. The hunger I feel is different than before, less intense. It all feels more manageable.
