Aspartame poisoning! and diet sodas
So many people ask about diet sodas after your doctor has made them off limits and this is a blog that answers that question with information that I have not heard before. It makes it much easier to understand the danger.

Everyone is free to do as they please but I do believe some people can't tolerate it. We had a guest at our B&B yesterday that can not have artificial sweeteners so I believe there is a lot of truth in the article. AS the article noted, doctors often overlook the symptoms. Be informed of all possibilities.

This scary stuff has been on the internet for years. If it were all true there would be a lot of blind people in wheelchairs by now. While my personal choice is ice water, I have drunk many gallons of diet soda in my life and no strange side effects.
Not a diet soda drinker, never have been, but this made me laugh out loud. Thank you! :)

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
See, most doctors don't tell people diet soda should be off limits because of the aspartame. They tell them things like it will stretch their pouch, which is absolutely not true. If doctors would stop treating patients like they are stupid and tell them truthfully why some foods are harmful to their health, patients might decide to comply with their doctors' recommendations. When doctors treat patients like they are stupid and treat them like little children and try to scare them into not drinking soda, all that accomplishes is that patients no longer trust them doctors.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
I suffered from terrible migraines and vertigo for years. I went from doctor to doctor and they could not figure out what was causing these problems. Anyway I had bleeding stomach ulcers which required surgery. My surgeon took me off soda for 6 weeks and during this time I realized I had no headaches or vertigo. I no longer suffer from the migraines or vertigo....guess it was the diet sodas.
